A transition in roles from industry leadership to family leadership created significant internal anxiety for me. I realized my existing skill set needed a re-alignment. Before I utilized Caroline’s services, I was having a very difficult time being able to incorporate & focus on my life’s goals while carrying out my daily work. I am a director on our family business board. I am a member of an emotionally volatile family. This course has helped me to learn how to self-regulate and be clear about what is important to me which has helped my interactions with family members. I have become less anxious, asking good questions and am speaking up. One Example: One family member tried to get me to side with them against a third family member (triangulation). I firmly spoke my position of wanting to stay in relationship with both parties and refused to get in between them or gang up against
the third family member. I have maintained autonomy and am still speaking to both parties.
