Advanced Leadership Course

The Advanced Leadership Course offers business leaders, owners and professionals an in-depth, multi-month learning experience focusing on relationship management.

This nationally-acclaimed course meets for nine sessions, one-half day per month. The features include:

  • Small class size (maximum of 6 leaders)
  • A rigorous learning format emphasizing ‘real-time issues’
  • Cutting-edge leadership research presented in brief, lively segments
  • Interactive, practical advanced skills training
  • Coaching demonstrations
  • Supportive and challenging feedback
  • Practical accountability agreements
  • Applications to both work and personal relationships
  • Private meeting rooms with casual dress and meals
  • Topics include: emotional maturity in leadership, roles and functions of a leader, promoting responsibility within the family and within the business, self-awareness and self-observation, giving and receiving feedback, managing anxiety, pressure and stress, building stronger connections at work and home, coaching and mentoring skills, courage, stamina and perspective in leadership, accountability strategies, clarifying life/work values and beliefs, and fitness and well-being.

Qualifications

Successful candidates for the Advanced Leadership Course represent a wide variation of leadership positions, fields and circumstances, such as:

  • Entrepreneurial heads of growing businesses
  • Family business owners
  • Next-generation leaders of family businesses
  • Key partners of law and accounting firms
  • Executive directors of not-for-profit organizations
  • Board Directors
  • Corporate division leaders
  • Government and political leaders
  • School superintendents and principals
  • Physician and dental practice leaders
  • Hospital and nursing home administrators

Two qualifications are required for acceptance into the Advanced Leadership Course:

  1. One must possess a high level of motivation to examine oneself and one’s leadership style, including openness to constructive feedback.
  2. One’s participation must be endorsed by Caroline Berry of Caroline Berry Consulting.
